A UV coating is an ultraviolet radiation curable clear coating possessing superior resistance to abrasion and to ultraviolet degradation. By adjusting the formulation, properties such as hardness, abrasion and solvent resistance, adhesion, flexibility, gloss and color can be modified. As part of our ongoing research and development, Air kraft Spraying has developed a method where a base metallic coat may initially be laid down and then top coated with either a satin or gloss UV finish for a stunning effect.
